Privacy

Last One In is a quiz game at playlastonein.com. This page explains what we collect when you play and what we do with it. If you have a question about your data, email hello@playlastonein.com.

What we collect

• Your email address, so we can send you a sign-in code.
• The display name you choose. Other players see it in games, on leaderboards including the public daily leaderboard, and in any league you join.
• Your results in games, challenges and the daily challenge, including how long you took, and any questions you report.
• Your reminder choice, if you ask us to email you when a new daily challenge is live.

How we use it

We use this information to sign you in, run games, show leaderboards, leagues and streaks, send the emails you ask for and fix questions that are wrong. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies and analytics

We store your sign-in and settings in your browser so the game works. With your permission, Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, sets cookies so we can see how people use the game. If you reject them, those cookies are not set. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.

Emails

We email you sign-in codes. We only send daily reminders if you turn them on, and every reminder has a link to stop them.

Who helps us run the game

• Amazon Web Services hosts the game in London.
• Mailgun sends our emails from its EU region.
• Cloudflare provides our domain name, DNS and cookie-free visit counts.
• Google provides analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
• OpenRouter passes the topic you pick to AI models that write and check the questions. We do not send your email address or name with it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and results while you use the game. Sign-in codes expire after ten minutes. Live games are held in memory while you play, and only each player's final result is saved.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete your account. Email hello@playlastonein.com from the address you sign in with. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

Last One In is not for children under 13.
